Daniel “DanielS” Sobiesiak – is a concert cellist and composer. He graduated from the Instrumental Faculty of the Academy of Music in Gdansk (Poland). He was awarded for his polish cello competitions in Gdansk, Wroclaw, Malbork and Koszalin. Playing concerts as a soloist and as a chamber musician, he visited inter alia: New Zealand, Austria, Australia, China, South Korea, Spain, the UK, Iceland, Canada and the United States. Since 2005, he has cooperated as a cellist with various contemporary music, rock-progressive, ambient and also post metal groups. In 2008, he recorded and performed with success as a cello soloist for Marek Czerniewicz's piece called "MISERERE", written for cello with chamber orchestra. Since 2012, he has been interested in a new side of the cello sound, what he calls: "cello fusion". He has been using electric cello with guitars and multi effects to create a unique blend of avant-garde sounds, aesthetics and feelings. This led him to the creation of his first album: "GREY EMOTIONS, DEPRECIATED FEELINGS", which is a prime example of the artist's genre versatility. The beauty and all-around style captivates, magnetizes audiences and makes them think.
"Music is not divided into better or worse, but into that which carries significant emotional content or not."
